The high today was 87.  It was a year ago today that father-in-law Joe passed away.  We miss him but know he's having a great eternity with the Lord.  After church it was lunch at Culvers.  We just sat around all afternoon and then headed up to P77.  It was dusty up there so the rain didn't do much up there.  No smoke to speak of from the Gold Mountain Fire.  All roads and trails up the forks are still closed.  We drove to the elk meadow past YWAM.  Nothing.  We only saw a couple deer.  We didn't want to come back and sit in the house so we went up on Bostwick on the way back.  We saw probably a dozen bucks - some nice ones too.  Also a doe and fawn.  As the sun set it was gorgeous over the San Juans.  Great day!
