I decided to escape the heat and head up high.  I didn't decide which trail to go on until I got there and decided on the Failes Creek trail due to it being at least 50% in the trees.  It was pretty warm even at 11,000 feet.  But there was a breeze most of the day, so that really helped.  I saw a cow elk and a doe mule deer.  Lots of elk sign.  I mostly shot video today and this trail is not that photogenic.  It was a very good day, a good opportunity to count the many blessings the Lord has showered us with.  I love to talk to the Lord while hiking and praise Him for the wonderful world He has made.  I got a new action camera and used it today.  I like it so far.  It's a Insta360 Ace Pro 2.  Photos are from it and my Nikon Z50II
