This was a very nice day. I went and rambled on both sides of EWR. It was in the low to mid 40s but thinly overcast for most of the day. Nothing unusual though I did see a bald eagle in a tree along 348 on the way home. This has been the most meager birding year I can remember. I’m not sure if it’s due to the warm winter, bird flu or a combination of the two. It’s been meager in both variety and numbers. Oh well, it was still a great day outdoors. I even tried sitting for about an hour, to no avail. Still it was a blessed day. Panasonic G97
