Beautiful day again. Today after church and lunch we headed up over Log Hill. We stopped and walked a bit on the Escarpment Trail. There was some wind as usual there. We then headed up East Dallas to see how far we could go. Surprisingly we made it clear to the Blue Lakes trailhead. The road was mostly dry. That is the earliest I’ve ever made it to the trailhead. I read yesterday that this years snowpack in the San Juans is the lowest in history. I believe it now. The mountains look like it’s the middle of June. Hopefully we can get some moisture before it’s too late. I took some photos by the creek. It was beautiful up there and there were quite a few people but nothing like the busy times.
