We made a quick trip to Vernal - just one night.  I wanted to see if Diamond had gotten even better since it appeared it was recovering last year.  It was the worst run we've ever had on Diamond.  Very few animals.  We saw some deer and a nice bull elk with his ladies, but no nice bucks.  Oh well, it was a nice escape back to Vernal anyway.  We ran up on Dinosaur on our way home - that was nice.
