No church today as it was Serve the City. Nor did we go to Delta as we were there Friday evening for the Lovato’s 72nd anniversary.

Another scorcher and late in the day smoke everywhere. We picked up Landon and Shelly and went up P77 and Big Cimarron in the evening. Saw quite a few bucks…some fairly big for this area. Had a whole herd of elk cross the road in front us on the way down. Too dark to photograph or video. Lots of calves in the bunch. They were very vocal. Even heard a bull bugle. Saw a couple owls too but couldn’t get photos. Ran into Ryan and Garrett up there too. Good evening. A bit sad as Landon and Shelly had to have Hanah put down on Friday.
